Who Is Kendra G

For over the last ten years Celebrity Radio Host, Kendra G, has become one of the most popular Hip-Hop Radio Personalities in the country. She has become a staple in the entertainment industry and has accomplished more than most radio veterans that have been in the industry for years. She has interviewed countless A-List celebrities such as Grammy award winning artist Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Jamie Foxx, P-Diddy, President Barack Obama and more! She has made TV appearances on BET, VH1, Comcast Network, NBC News 10, Fox Chicago and The CW Network. Her entertainment stories have been featured on several major websites such as Mediatakeout.com, Allhiphop.com, Bossip.com, and Thisis50.com, just to name a few.  NBC requested Kendra G for their “Women in Hip-Hop” panel discussion that featured such names as Record Executive Irv Gotti and Author Michael Eric Dyson.  

Born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut, Kendra G began her radio career while attending Hampton University. Upon graduating she landed her first radio job in her home state. After spending two years with Hot 93.7 in Connecticut, Kendra’s radio career took off! She did a brief stint with WBLK 93.7 in Buffalo, NY but after only a year her next stop was CHICAGO! Kendra G landed a dream job!  She spent three years in Chicago as the Morning Show Co-Host for the “Trey the Choklit Jok Morning Jump-off” which was heard on Power 92 in Chicago. Although Kendra G LOVED Chicago when Philly came calling with an opportunity for her to host her own show she packed her bags and said bye-bye to her beloved Chicago. Currently Kendra G is the host of, “LIVE with KENDRA G” heard on 100.3 The Beat in Philly. Also, she is the creator of “Abstinence is Kool” an organization that gets teen girls each year to say NO to sex for the entire school year. Also, Kendra G is currently writing her first book to support her “Abstinence is Kool” movement. Hardworking, tenacious and focused are three words that describe “Kendra G” best!
